The conference is right in between the 2010 Winter Olympics and the 2010 Winter Paralympics held in Whistler and Vancouver. The slopes will be kept in prime condition for the upcoming Special Olympics. Whistler is predicting the mountain may be very empty for attendance during our dates so we may have the slopes to ourselves.

Annoying isn't it? I asked the Olympics to move, but they wouldn't. Sorry about that. For DjangoSki II, we'll probably be a little further away from PyCon. Besides, the skiing isn't as good in Atlanta.
Be warned that it is almost impossible to get into Whistler in February, so extend the trip after the conference.
